  Coal Imports Division

  Sri Bhagyalaxmi has deep roots in the Indian coal market, and coal continues to be a vital segment of our business. We source domestic coal via e-auctions conducted by Coal India subsidiaries such as WCL, ECL, SECL, CCL, MCL, NCL, and SCCL. Our procurement aligns with our customers’ quality and quantity specifications.

  Indonesian Coal Imports

  We have long-standing relationships with Indonesian miners and operate across all major export terminals. We import a full spectrum of Indonesian coal:

  • Low, Medium, and High Calorific Value (CV) coal grades

  • Contractual offtakes from multiple Indonesian mines

  • Vessel sizes include Supramax, Panamax, Babycape, and Capesize

  Imported coal is bulk-stocked at major Indian ports:
  Haldia, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Ennore, Tuticorin, New Mangalore, Jaigarh, Dharamtar, Sanegaon, Karanja, Magdalla, Bhavnagar, Pipavav, Porbandar, Navlakhi, Kandla, and Hazira.
  We ensure last-mile delivery to a wide customer base, including:

  • Independent and captive power plants
  • Textile and chemical industries
  • Brick kilns and processing units

  South African Coal Imports

  We maintain strong ties with major miners exporting from Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT). Grades include:

  • 6000 NAR, 5500 NAR, and 4800 NAR

  Ports of distribution include Gangavaram, New Mangalore, Krishnapatnam, Gopalpur, Paradeep, Haldia, Kandla, Jaigarh, Salaya, and Goa.
  Our client base spans across steel, sponge iron, and ferroalloy industries.

  Global Coal Sourcing

  We’re expanding our coal sourcing network with imports from:

  • Australia

  • USA

  • Russia

  • Colombia
